Code Monkey. Logic Development.

Home / Modules / Code Monkey. Logic Development.

The module that helps the child to take the first steps in mastering the computer and surprise parents by how quickly the child can learn the basic principles of working on a computer and algorithms.

The child will learn how the computer works, what programs are necessary for its operation and what devices can be connected to it, learn how to use the keyboard and mouse, work with files and programs, learn what computer security is and much, much more.

During the course of the module, the child will learn such concepts as algorithms and loops, arrays and functions, will get acquainted with graphic editors, and will learn how to use a computer like a pro. Also, they will create several IT projects by themselves.

CodeMonkey is a fun and educational game-based environment where kids learn to code without any prior experience. After completing CodeMonkey award-winning coding program, kids will be able to navigate through the programming world with a sense of confidence and accomplishment.

After completing the module in KIBERone CyberSchool, your child will know the basics of algorithmic and logic, learn to creatively approach problems of various complexity, be able to read and manage codes, and navigate through the world of “adult” programming.

Features of “Code Monkey. Logic Development.” programming module for children

The course is designed for both: beginners who do not have any prior experience in programming, and for advanced young coders who want to test their knowledge in a fun way or consolidate it. We give children a minimum of theory and a maximum of practice. All the tasks are given according to increasing complexity.

"CodeMonkey. Logic Development." module in our CyberSchool introduce children to:

  •  CodeMonkey platform and code blocks;
  • complex programming concepts — objects, functions, arguments, loops, variables, arrays, methods,conditions, operators, and events;
  •  basic commands and the constructions of algorithms;
  •  text encoding.

In the process of learning, children become more attentive and diligent, constantly work with codes and develop good habits when writing them, develop computational thinking, and learn to:

  • determine an aim of a task;
  •  split the task into elements to identify the most important ones and focus on them;
  • create an execution algorithm;
  •  think through programs and debug them;
  •  work independently and in a team with peers.

Professionals with real practical experience in large IT companies share their experience with children. By the end of the module, your child will be able to apply the knowledge that will help to master complex programs more easily.
